e-City portal and e-City mobile application
Terms and conditions of use

 

1. The purpose of the policy

The purpose of this document is to record the conditions of using the e-City portal as well as the Android (5.0/6.0) and iOS-based application.

 

2. Managing personal data

By accepting the terms and conditions of use, you hereby give the Municipality consent to

• manage and store your personal data in the e-City application, which was provided by you and is essential for the operation of the portal and the mobile application
• forward your data to a third party in case it is inevitable for the operation of the mobile application and the portal functions, and functional operation according to service conditions becomes impossible without personal data.

Legal claim of data management
By completing the registration, you give the Municipality consent to manage your data according to the 2011 law, section CXII about the right to informational autonomy and the freedom of information.
Over the course of running the mobile application and the portal, depending on the use of functions, the Municipality may manage the following data:

• name,
• e-mail address,
• date of registration,
• registrational verification code,
• the quantity, location and time of collected points
• the quantity, location and time of accepted points
• rated and bookmarked points of interest, tours, news, events
• bookmarked programmes
• taking part in opinion polls, options

Provided that the user gives permission, during the use of the mobile application with a completed registration, the Municipality has access to the following mobile functions:

• pictures and videos.

The users of the portal and the application can respectively initiate the deletion of registration with the “Cancel Registration” function. Cancelling the registration may take a few days, the user will be informed about this fact through the portal and the application.
Providing data during the downloading or using the application and the portal is, in all cases voluntary. The user takes responsibility for downloading the application and using the portal voluntarily and having been well-informed.

 

3. Sending messages

By completing the registration, you give your consent to receiving letters (messages and newsletters regarding the e-Card discount system – if requested) from the service provider of the portal and application to the e-mail address provided by you.

 

4. Accessibility of data

You take note of the following:

• • Provided that you record the personal data of a third party using the mobile application/portal, it is your responsibility to procure the necessary permission for data management, which is to be handed in at the Municipality.
• • Data is processed and managed by the Municipality.

 

5. Complaints and contact information

Should you have any questions or issues regarding the e-City application and the e-City portal, you can contact us by e-mail (info@e-city.hu) or by phone: dial +36 92 316 160 or +36 92 510 696.
A colleague at the City Hall will provide answers to various inquiries straight away.

 

6. Registration

The services provided by the e-City portal and mobile application (with the exception of the functions requiring registration) are available for users who have not completed a registration. Registered users can take part in draws connected to games, polls requiring registration, and can collect points with the e-Card function which can be used for acquiring different products at the locations accepting points.
During registration, the user consents to registering by providing only their own personal data, which complies with reality.
The Municipality stores the following data of the registered users of the portal and application:

• name,
• e-mail address,
• date of registration,
• registrational verification code.

 

7. Details of contact

You take note of the following:

• The Municipality takes no responsibility for content uploaded or made available by you or for any sort of material-, or non-material damage caused by said contents.
• Illicit content may not be placed in the text of the sent content or contact form.
• The Municipality reserves the right to ban any user or delete contents or information, which, according to its interpretation, may be inappropriate or against any kind of regulation.

 

8. Blocking registration

The registration of a user of the portal or the mobile application may be deactivated in justified cases (sending unwarranted pictures or messages). Should the registration of a user be blocked for any reason, they will receive an error message while signing in to the application or the portal.
In case a user has been blocked, they may get further information by e-mail (info@e-city.hu) or phone (+36 92 316 160 or +36 92 510 696).
The user cannot request any kind of refund or legal remedial procedure related to deactivation and blocking.

 

9. Updates

The purpose of the updates is to expand, improve and develop the application and the portal, as well as to inform you about new functions or services. You consent to receiving such updates by registering on the portal or in the application, and understand that applying modifications may affect their availability.
