Collecting and using discount points

One of the services of the e-City application is a virtual card for point collection, with which we intend to reward loyal tourists and visitors who use the e-City application to discover the city.

 

If you have not acquired a virtual e-Card yet:

Register on the e-City Portal or in the e-City application!

Following registration, an e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address about the successful process. By clicking on the link found in the e-mail, you can activate your account. After activating your account, you can sign in to the e-City Portal or the e-City application with the e-mail address and password that you provided during registration.

You can find your data regarding point collection on the e-City Portal or in the application, and you can view the balance of your discount card here.

 

You have already acquired a virtual e-Card:

If you have formerly registered and signed in to the e-City Portal or the e-City application, you can view the balance of your discount card and find information about using points under the e-Card menu item.  

 

Forgotten password

In case of a forgotten password, click on the “Forgotten Password” sign under the “Sign in” menu item. We will generate a new password to the given e-mail address, with which you can sign in to the e-City Portal and the e-City application.

 

Granting points:

The prerequisite of collecting points is the registration at the e-City Portal or in the e-City application. If the registered user approaches one of the locations accepting points, and the location services are turned on in their mobile phone, is therefore eligible for points.

You can find information about the number of collectible points at a given location as you are approaching it in the e-City Application.

 

Using points

e-Card discount points can be used at the following point accepting locations for the following products or discounts (depending on the number of collected points):

• Tourinform Office – available product: Zalaegerszeg fridge magnets
• designated accepting locations in connection with municipal events – available service: discount for food and drinks

 

Conditions and restrictions regarding the collection and use of points

• If you have collected points at a location, you cannot collect points at the same place for 6 months. This limitation is universally valid for all locations
• The process of collecting points is not tied to hiking trails. Points can be collected at any given location, even one outside of a trail or different trails.
• Points can be collected in any given order at the collecting locations.
• After accepting points, the given location has a chance to cancel the granting of the last points from the card owner within an hour. The cancellation is initiated by the location accepting points and approved by the virtual card’s holder by re-reading the QR code.
• Granted points can only be used through the system of the e-City mobile application and the designated locations.
• Points can only be granted using one card. Points collected on different cards cannot be accumulated at the time of using the discount.

 

Validity of the virtual e-Card and the e-Card discount points

Your e-Card and the points stored on it have no expiration date.

 

What kind of rewards can the points be used for?

Points can only be used for the offers presented as part of points accepting process and in the indicated quantity.

The Tourinform Office reserves the right to change this policy. The general rules apply for collecting and using points.

Discount points to be used for products at the Tourinform Office are subject to availability, points in connection with municipal events can be used at the designated locations accepting points, according to the exchange rate at a given location. (for further information: locations accepting points)
