There are oil rigs everywhere you look, even though you are not in an oil field. What you have just stumbled upon is the country’s second biggest technical and technological museum, which is at the same time Europe’s second most significant museum of the oil industry. Similar to the museum’s collection in Páterdomb, another exhibition of “the best of the best” can be found here, at the open-air museum site. For instance, the biggest amount of oil rigs and different types of pumps are displayed here. However, not only the true enthusiasts of the industry’s history can find interesting items here; there are plenty of sights to see from natural sciences all the way to arts.
