Connected to the inner city: Europe Square stands in the centre of Europe, in the centre of the city, joining the town’s current main square, Dísz square. It is quite interesting that it was inaugurated in 1996 on the occasion of Europe Day.

• The index post showing the sister cities of Zalaegerszeg, created by Zoltán Póra
• In the centre of the square, under the shadows of trees, you can stumble upon the drinking fountain, a nice little artwork by sculptor Görgy Fischer, who received the Munkácsy Award.
• The alluring ideas have found their place in the new millennia: a “free library” made from a phone booth awaits bookworms here. The password of the Bibliobooth: bring and take books.
